Continue on NY-8 North for approximately 8 miles until you reach the junction with NY-418. Turn left onto NY-418, which will lead you into the town of Johnsburg. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Crane Mountain. The trailhead is located off of Crane Mountain Road, which you will see as you approach the mountain. Note that Crane Mountain Road is a gravel road, and a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for the last stretch.

Once you arrive in North Creek, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Crane Mountain trailhead, as there are limited public transport options directly to the mountain.
