If you're starting from the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St & Court St. Take the NFTA Metro Bus #5 towards the Buffalo Waterfront. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes. Get off at the bus stop near the Erie Basin Marina. From there, it's a short walk to Buffalo Naval Park, located at 1 Naval, Marina Park S. Follow the path towards the waterfront, and you'll see the park entrance.

From the Shea's Performing Arts Center, walk to the nearest light rail station at Lafayette Square. Take the Metro Light Rail towards the University station.
