Bus
From downtown Buffalo, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the NFTA Metro Bus #40 to the Niagara Falls station. Once you arrive at the Niagara Falls station, transfer to the #4 bus heading towards Niagara-on-the-Lake. Get off at the stop closest to Lakeview Wine Co. Located at 1067 Niagara Stone Rd. The entire journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on bus schedules.
Train
Start at the Buffalo Exchange Street train station and purchase a ticket to Niagara Falls, Ontario. Upon arrival at the Niagara Falls train station, take a taxi or rideshare service to Lakeview Wine Co. on 1067 Niagara Stone Rd. The taxi ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Buffalo. Head towards the Niagara River Greenway trail which will lead you towards Niagara Falls. Follow the trail north until you reach the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It’s a scenic route that takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in town, navigate to 1067 Niagara Stone Rd where Lakeview Wine Co. is located.
Walking Tour
For those who prefer a longer journey and enjoy walking, you can embark on a long walking tour from downtown Buffalo to Niagara-on-the-Lake. This is a distance of approximately 20 miles, and you will need to allocate a full day for this trek. Start on Main St. heading north, continue towards the Niagara River, and follow pathways and trails leading to the wine region. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks!
