To reach the 10th Ward Memorial via public transportation, take the CDTA (Capital District Transportation Authority) bus #1 (Central Avenue) from downtown Albany. Board the bus at the Albany Bus Terminal. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the Central Ave & N Allen St stop. Walk about 0.2 miles east on Central Avenue, and you will find the 10th Ward Memorial on your right. The bus fare is approximately $2.00, and be sure to have exact change or a bus pass.

Starting from downtown Albany, head west on State Street, then turn onto Central Avenue. It is about a 2-mile ride. There are bike lanes available, and the memorial will be on your right.
