If you're driving to Cedar Beach, start on Fire Island and head towards the main road leading to the mainland. Depending on where you are on Fire Island, you'll likely need to take a ferry back to Bay Shore, NY. Once off the ferry, merge onto Sunrise Highway (NY-27) heading west. Continue on Sunrise Highway for approximately 15 miles, then take the exit for Route 231 North toward Babylon. Follow Route 231 North until you reach the exit for NY-27A East. Cedar Beach will be on your right after driving approximately 3 miles on NY-27A. The address is Cedar Beach, Babylon, NY 11702. Parking is available on-site, but make sure to check for any parking fees which might apply.

Public Transportation
To reach Cedar Beach using public transportation from Fire Island, you will first need to take the Fire Island ferry back to Bay Shore. Once you arrive at Bay Shore, walk to the Bay Shore train station and take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) towards Babylon. The ride typically takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive in Babylon, exit the train station and transfer to the S-66 bus which will take you directly to Cedar Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes.
