Walking
From the center of Hudson, start walking north on Warren Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Route 9. Cross Route 9 at the crosswalk and head east on Route 9, following the signs toward Troy. After about 1 mile, take a left onto 5th Avenue and continue for another mile. You will then reach the Hudson River. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market area. From there, you can catch a bus or walk to the Burden Iron Works Museum, located at 1 E Industrial Pkwy, Troy, NY, approximately another 1 mile further along. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to the museum.

From Hudson, walk to the Hudson train station located at 1 Hudson Ave. Take the Amtrak train towards Albany-Rensselaer. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Rensselaer station. From there, you can take the CDTA bus Route 214 towards Troy. Get off at the stop nearest to 1 E Industrial Pkwy, Troy, NY. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop.
