Walking

From the center of Hudson, head west on Warren Street towards 7th Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of Warren Street. Turn left onto 7th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Green Street. Turn right onto Green Street and follow it until it becomes Route 9. Continue walking on Route 9, and after approximately 1.5 miles, you will enter Albany. Keep an eye out for Central Avenue on your right. Turn right onto Central Avenue, and you will find Waterworks Pub at 76 Central Ave on your left.
Biking

From Hudson, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start your journey by biking along the Hudson River on the Hudson River Greenway. Follow the path until you reach the south end of the riverfront park. Exit onto 7th Street and bike towards Albany. When you reach the intersection of 7th Street and Green Street, turn right. Continue straight until you reach Route 9. Keep biking south on Route 9, and after about 1.5 miles, look for Central Avenue on your right. Turn right onto Central Avenue, and Waterworks Pub will be on your left at 76 Central Ave.

Walk to the Hudson Amtrak Station and take the Amtrak train heading to Albany-Rensselaer. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Albany-Rensselaer station, exit the station and take the CDTA Bus #1 (Route 1) towards the Albany City Center. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop for Central Avenue. Walk a short distance down Central Avenue, and you will see Waterworks Pub at 76 Central Ave on your left.
