From Hunter Mountain, start by heading northeast on NY-23A E. Follow NY-23A for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with I-87 N. Merge onto I-87 N and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 24 for NY-32 N toward Voorheesville. Continue on NY-32 N for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Thacher Park Road. Turn left onto Thacher Park Road, and after approximately 1 mile, you will arrive at Thacher State Park, located at 830 Thacher Pk Rd, Voorheesville, NY 12186. There is a parking fee of $6 for cars.
