If you are driving, start from the main street in Hunter Mountain. Head east on NY-23A and continue for about 3 miles. Look for the sign for 'Plateau Mountain Trailhead' on your right. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the trailhead parking area. Please note that parking may be limited, and there might be a parking fee of around $10, which can be paid at a kiosk on-site.

Take a bus from Hunter Mountain to the nearest public transport hub, which is the Catskill Mountain Shuttle. Once at the shuttle stop, board the bus that heads towards Tannersville.
