If you are driving from downtown Lake George, start by heading south on Canada Street (NY-9) towards the intersection with NY-149. Continue on NY-9 for approximately 0.5 miles. Turn left onto NY-149 and follow it for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Prospect Mountain Highway. The entrance to Prospect Mountain is well-marked. There is a parking fee of $10. For those using public transportation, take the Lake George Shuttle Service which operates during the summer months. Board the shuttle from the main stop at the Lake George Steamboat Company dock.
