Walking
Starting from the center of Lake Placid, head southeast on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Saranac Avenue. Turn right onto Saranac Avenue and stay on this road for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing towards the local parks. Continue walking until you reach the end of Saranac Avenue, where it will turn into Bear Cub Road. Follow Bear Cub Road for approximately 1 mile. Henry's Woods will be on your left, marked by a small parking area and trailhead.

If you have access to a bike, you can rent one in Lake Placid. Start from the village center and head south on Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Saranac Avenue. Continue on Saranac Avenue for about 0.5 miles until it turns into Bear Cub Road. Ride along Bear Cub Road for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Henry's Woods on your left. There are bike racks available near the trailhead.
