Car
If you're driving, you can take the Long Island Expressway (I-495). Exit at exit 41N towards Route 106 N. Continue on Route 106 N until you reach the intersection with Route 25A. Turn left onto Route 25A W and follow it until you reach Cold Spring Harbor. Look for signs directing you to the park entrance at 95 Harbor Rd, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724. There is a parking fee of $10 for non-residents.
Train
For those using public transportation, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from your nearest station to Cold Spring Harbor Station. Check the LIRR schedule for train times. Once you arrive at Cold Spring Harbor Station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Cold Spring Harbor State Park, which is approximately 1.5 miles away. Alternatively, you can walk, which will take about 30 minutes, following the road signs to Harbor Road.
Bus
You can also take a bus on the Suffolk County Transit system. Check the bus routes that service the area to see if there is a stop near the park. You may need to transfer buses depending on your starting location. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, you may have to walk a short distance to the park entrance at 95 Harbor Rd, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724.
