Train
If you're starting from New York City, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from Penn Station to Oyster Bay Station. Board a train on the Oyster Bay branch and enjoy the scenic ride, which usually takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Oyster Bay Station, exit the station and walk to the left onto East Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Street, where you'll see a bus stop.

At the bus stop on South Street, take the N70 bus towards Glen Cove. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Stop at Planting Fields Arboretum (the stop is located directly in front of the entrance). From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Planting Fields Road to reach the entrance of Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park.

If you prefer to walk from Oyster Bay Station, it is about a 1.5-mile walk to Planting Fields Arboretum. Head west on East Main Street, then turn left onto South Street. Continue straight until you reach Planting Fields Road. Turn right onto Planting Fields Road and follow it until you reach the entrance of the park at 1395 Planting Fields Rd, Oyster Bay, NY 11771.
