If you are driving to F T Proctor Park, start by getting on NY-5S W from your location in Mohawk Valley. Follow NY-5S W until you reach Utica. Once in Utica, take the exit toward NY-12 S. Continue on NY-12 S and take exit 2 for Genesee Street. Merge onto Genesee St, and continue straight for about 1 mile. Turn right onto Court St, and then take another right onto Memorial Parkway. The park will be on your left. There is free parking available near the park.
