If you are in downtown Poughkeepsie, start at the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum located at 75 N Water St. From there, head northwest on N Water St toward Main St. Continue on Main St for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with U.S. 44/55. Turn left onto U.S. 44/55 and walk about 0.5 miles. You will see the Mid-Hudson Bridge ahead. There are sidewalks along the route, making it easy to walk.
