Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, head north on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Water Street. Turn left onto North Water Street, and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. Upper Landing Park will be on your right at 83 N Water St.

• Walking

  If you are near the Mid-Hudson Bridge, walk south on the bridge path until you reach the end. Once you are off the bridge, head towards the riverfront area and follow the signage for North Water Street. Walk along the riverfront promenade, which will lead you directly to Upper Landing Park at 83 N Water St.

  If you are starting at the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park, exit the walkway and head toward the Poughkeepsie waterfront. Follow the path down to North Water Street, and turn right. Continue walking about 0.4 miles and you will find Upper Landing Park on your right at 83 N Water St.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Poughkeepsie area. Many buses will stop near the downtown area. You can take a bus that stops at Main Street. From there, walk north on Main Street until you reach the North Water Street intersection, then turn left and continue to Upper Landing Park at 83 N Water St.
