Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Downtown Syracuse, head northwest on S Salina St toward E Washington St. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with W Onondaga St. Turn left onto W Onondaga St and walk for another half mile until you reach the Onondaga Creekwalk. Follow the creekwalk heading west for about 1.5 miles. You will pass through a scenic area with views of the creek and surrounding parks. After about 1.5 miles, you will see signs for the Erie Canal Overlook & Historical Marker. It will be located near the intersection of the creekwalk and the road leading into Solvay.
