Public Transit - Bus
Start at the downtown Syracuse area. Head to the nearest bus stop and board the Centro bus route 40 towards Cicero. Ensure to check the bus schedule for accurate times. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the 'Syracuse Hancock International Airport' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes northeast. Exit the airport and walk along Col Eileen Collins Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with NY-298 W. Turn right and follow the road as it curves, you will find the Old Historical Motel on your right.

Walking
If you are near the center of Syracuse, you can take a scenic walk. Start at the Onondaga Lake Park and head north along the park trail. Once you reach the northern end of the park, you can exit onto N. 1st St. and continue walking north. Follow N. 1st St. until it merges with NY-298 W. Continue on NY-298 W for about 1.5 miles. The Old Historical Motel will be on your right side. This route will take approximately 45 minutes but offers a pleasant view of the lake.
