Walking
If you are near Syracuse University, start by heading east on University Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Crouse Avenue. Turn left onto South Crouse Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with East Genesee Street. Cross East Genesee Street and then continue on South Crouse Avenue. Take a right onto Thornden Park Drive, and you will see the entrance to Thornden Park on your left.

Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Syracuse, find the Centro bus stop at the corner of Salina and Jefferson Streets. Board the Centro bus route 34 (Westcott). Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Westcott Street and Thornden Park Drive. From there, walk a short distance down Thornden Park Drive to reach the entrance of the park.
