If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards NY-12 from your current location in Thousand Islands. Follow the signs for NY-12 North towards Alexandria Bay. Continue on NY-12 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Keewaydin State Park located at 45165 NY-12, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607. There is a parking area available at the park, and it is free to park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check for any available bus services that operate within the Thousand Islands region. Look for a bus that heads towards Alexandria Bay. After arriving in Alexandria Bay, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service, as there may not be direct public transportation to Keewaydin State Park. The distance from the bus station in Alexandria Bay to the park is about 5 miles, so expect taxi fares to be around $10-$15. It's advisable to call a local taxi service in advance.
Bicycle
