Car
If you're traveling by car within the Thousand Islands region, start by heading northeast on US-12E from Alexandria Bay or Gananoque. Continue on US-12E until you reach the intersection with NY-37. Turn left onto NY-37 and follow the signs for Redwood. After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto Kring Point Road (you'll see a sign for Kring Point State Park). The park entrance will be on your left after about a mile. Be sure to check for any parking fees which might apply.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from Clayton or Alexandria Bay to Redwood. Check the local bus schedule for times as they can vary. Once in Redwood, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Kring Point State Park. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service if available, as this would provide a direct route to the park. Be prepared for potential costs for bus fares and rideshare services.
Bicycle
If you are an adventurous cyclist, you can bike to Kring Point State Park. From Alexandria Bay, take NY-12E and then turn left onto NY-37.
