If you're traveling by car, start from Alexandria Bay, NY. Head south on NY-12E for approximately 10 miles. Then, turn left onto NY-180W and continue for about 3 miles. Take a right onto Grassy Point Rd, and follow it for about 0.5 miles until you reach Grass Point State Park at 42247 Grassy Point Rd, Grenell, NY 13624. Parking is available at the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Jefferson County Public Transit bus from Alexandria Bay to Clayton. From Clayton, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Grass Point State Park, as it is approximately 15 miles away. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for availability and costs.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying in Alexandria Bay, you can bike to Grass Point State Park. Take NY-12E for about 10 miles, then turn onto NY-180W, and finally take a right onto Grassy Point Rd. The total distance is approximately 13 miles, so make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water.
