Getting There

    From the White Plains Metro-North train station, take the Metro-North Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Fordham station. Once you exit the station, head to the bus stop located right outside of the Fordham Metro-North station. Take the Bx12 bus (Bronx) towards Pelham Bay Park. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the stop for Southern Blvd. Walk north on Southern Blvd for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the Bronx Zoo at 2300 Southern Blvd.

    If you prefer to walk, you can start from the White Plains downtown area. Head east on Main St towards Mamaroneck Ave, then turn left onto Mamaroneck Ave. Continue walking until you reach the White Plains Metro-North train station. From there, follow the Public Transit instructions to reach the Bronx Zoo.
