Getting There

  • Public Transit - Metro North Railroad

    From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro North Station. You can take the Metro North train towards Grand Central Station. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Station, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. After exiting the station, walk to the subway station located right outside and take the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at the Times Square-42nd Street stop. From there, transfer to the N, Q, or R trains towards Brooklyn and get off at the 57th Street - 7th Avenue stop. Carnegie Hall will be just a short walk from the subway station.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From White Plains, you can also take the Bee-Line Bus number 20 from the White Plains Bus Terminal. Ride the bus until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. From there, you can either walk or take the subway. If you choose to walk, exit the terminal and head east on 42nd Street, then turn right onto 7th Avenue. Carnegie Hall is located at the corner of 57th Street and 7th Avenue.

    If you find yourself near the White Plains City Center, simply head south towards Mamaroneck Avenue. From Mamaroneck Avenue, walk towards the White Plains Metro North Station. You can take the train into New York City as mentioned above. If you're close to the bus terminal or the Metro North Station, follow the instructions for public transit to reach Carnegie Hall.
