Getting There

  • Train

    From White Plains Metro-North Station, take a Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 33 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Station, exit the station and head towards the 42nd Street exit. Walk to the 42nd Street and 5th Avenue intersection, then take the 5th Avenue bus (M1, M2, M3, or M4) heading north. Get off at the stop for Central Park South (59th Street). You will be at the southern entrance of Central Park.

    Take the Bee-Line Bus #60 from the White Plains Bus Terminal towards the Bronx. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the 242nd Street subway station. Transfer to the 1 subway line heading downtown. Get off at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle station. From there, walk east to Central Park, which is adjacent to Columbus Circle.

  • Walking

    If you're close to the downtown area of White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains Metro-North Station. From there, take a train to Grand Central Terminal and follow the train guidance above to reach Central Park. Alternatively, if you're already familiar with the area, you can walk to the bus terminal and take a Bee-Line bus to the Bronx and transfer to the subway as mentioned.
