Train
To reach Central Park Zoo from White Plains, start by heading to the White Plains Metro-North Train Station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Purchase a ticket for the northbound train to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The train ride will take approximately 35-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4, 5, 6, or S train from Grand Central to 42nd Street - Grand Central Station. From there, transfer to the 6 train towards Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall and get off at 33rd Street Station. Finally, walk to the east towards Park Avenue, and take the bus M1 or M2 heading north to 5th Avenue and 64th Street. The zoo is located within Central Park, just a short walk from the bus stop.
