Train
From White Plains Metro-North Train Station, take the Harlem Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take approximately 33 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. After exiting, head towards Park Avenue and take a right. Walk about 6 blocks until you reach 40th Street, then take a left. Continue walking straight for about 12 blocks until you reach Canal Street. Turn right onto Canal Street, and after a few minutes, you'll enter Chinatown.
Bus
At the White Plains Bus Terminal, take the BxM3 Express Bus towards New York City. The bus typically runs every 30 minutes and takes about 40 minutes to get to Manhattan. Get off at the stop on 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. From there, walk east towards Broadway and take a left. Continue walking until you reach Canal Street, then take a right, and you’ll soon find yourself in the heart of Chinatown.
Subway
From White Plains Metro-North Train Station, take the Harlem Line train to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square-42nd Street. Transfer to the 1 train towards South Ferry and ride it to Canal Street. Exit the subway, and you will be in Chinatown within a short walking distance.
Walking
If you are already in downtown White Plains, head towards Main Street and start walking south. Follow Main Street until you reach the White Plains Metro-North Station. From there, take the train to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, explore the area and make your way to Canal Street, where you can enter Chinatown.
