    Getting There

    Train

    From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro-North train station, which is located at 1 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket to the Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Board the train heading southbound towards Grand Central. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. Once outside, walk east on 42nd Street towards Madison Avenue.

    Bus

    From the White Plains Bus Terminal, take the Bee-Line Bus #60, which heads to the Bronx and stops in Manhattan. Make sure to get off at the stop on 42nd Street & Madison Avenue. After disembarking, walk a few blocks east on 42nd Street until you reach Madison Square Park, which is located at 11 Madison Ave.

    Walking

    If you are in downtown White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains Metro-North station and then take the train to Grand Central Terminal as described above. Alternatively, you can walk to the bus terminal and catch the Bee-Line Bus #60. If you prefer to walk entirely, it is approximately 33 miles to Manhattan, which would take several hours and is not recommended.
