Train
From White Plains Metro-North Train Station, take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes about 33 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and follow the signs for the S shuttle train. Take the S train towards Times Square-42nd Street. At Times Square, transfer to the 1 subway line towards South Ferry and get off at 66th Street-Lincoln Center station. From there, it's a short walk to the Metropolitan Opera House at 30 Lincoln Center Plaza.

From downtown White Plains, you can catch the Bee-Line Bus No. 60 towards the Bronx. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the last stop at the Bronx Terminal Market. Transfer to the Bx12 Select Bus Service towards Astoria. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, get off at the 66th Street-Lincoln Center stop. The Metropolitan Opera House is just a short walk from there.
