From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro-North train station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Take the Harlem Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the S shuttle train to Times Square-42nd Street. After a short ride, get off at Times Square-42nd Street station. Take the exit towards 42nd Street and walk west on 42nd Street for about 5 minutes. You will find the New Amsterdam Theatre at 214 W 42nd St on your right.

From White Plains, go to the nearest bus stop for the Westchester County Bee-Line Bus System. Take the Bee-Line Bus #7 or #60 heading towards New York City. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 42nd St and 8th Ave stop. From there, walk east along 42nd St for about 10 minutes until you reach the New Amsterdam Theatre at 214 W 42nd St.

If you are close to the White Plains downtown area, you can simply walk to the Metro-North station at 1 Railroad Avenue. From there, proceed with the Public Transit instructions above. However, if you're feeling adventurous and want to explore, you could start walking south on Mamaroneck Ave until you reach Main St. Continue east on Main St until you hit the White Plains Metro-North station. Follow the Public Transit instructions from here.
