From the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal, take the NJ Transit Bus #156 towards 'Palisades Park'. The bus will take you directly to Alpine, NJ. Ensure you inform the driver you want to stop at Palisades Interstate Park. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive, the park entrance will be within walking distance.

From New York Penn Station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards Bay Head. Get off at the Secaucus Junction. From there, transfer to the NJ Transit Bus #156 towards 'Palisades Park'. This will take you to Alpine, NJ. The entire trip may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. When you arrive at Alpine, walk towards the Palisades Interstate Park entrance.
