    Public Transit

    To reach Poe Park from downtown White Plains, start by walking to the White Plains Transit Center located at 11 Ferris Avenue. From there, take the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Fordham station, which is approximately a 25-minute ride. Once you exit the train, walk to the northeast and follow the signs to the Bx12 bus stop. Take the Bx12 bus towards the Bronx Zoo. After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop at E Kingsbridge Rd/Grand Concourse. Poe Park is just a short walk from there. Head east on E Kingsbridge Rd, then turn right onto Grand Concourse. The park will be on your left.

    If you are close to the White Plains Public Library located at 100 Martine Avenue, you can walk to Poe Park. Head north on Martine Avenue, and when you reach Main Street, turn left. Continue walking until you reach the White Plains Transit Center. From there, follow the same directions as above using public transit, or if you prefer walking, it would take about an hour to walk to Poe Park directly. Just head north on Main St to E Kingsbridge Rd, then turn left, and you will reach Poe Park in about 15 minutes.
