Seward Park: A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Manhattan

Walking

From the White Plains Train Station, exit onto Main Street. Head south on Main Street toward Martine Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Martine Avenue. Turn right onto Martine Avenue and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the bus terminal. From there, take the Bee-Line Bus No. 60 towards New York City. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Canal Street stop in Manhattan, get off the bus. Walk east on Canal Street towards Essex Street for about 0.1 miles. Seward Park will be on your left.

Public Transit

From the White Plains Train Station, you can take a Metro-North train on the Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. It takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and walk to the 42nd Street subway station. Take the 4, 5, 6, or 7 subway line downtown to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. Transfer to the 4 or 5 train towards Brooklyn and get off at the Canal Street station. From there, walk east on Canal Street towards Essex Street for about 0.1 miles. You will see Seward Park on your left.
