Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Sprain Ridge Park from downtown White Plains, start by heading to the White Plains Bus Station located at 11 Ferris Avenue. From there, take the Bee-Line Bus #60 towards Yonkers. Make sure to check the Bee-Line schedule for departure times. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop at Jackson Avenue and Palmer Road. Once you disembark, walk north on Jackson Avenue for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Sprain Ridge Park on your left. It's a short walk from the bus stop, and you can enjoy the greenery along the way.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from a central point like the White Plains Public Library at 100 Martine Avenue, start by heading east on Martine Avenue until you reach Mamaroneck Avenue. Turn left onto Mamaroneck Avenue and continue walking north. After about 0.7 miles, you will reach the intersection with Jackson Avenue. Turn right onto Jackson Avenue and walk for another 1.5 miles. You should see the entrance to Sprain Ridge Park on your right. This route takes you through a nice residential area and is a great opportunity to see the local architecture.

• Biking

  For those who wish to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program if available. Start from the White Plains Train Station and head west on Main Street until you reach Mamaroneck Avenue. Turn left on Mamaroneck Avenue and head north. Continue to Jackson Avenue, where you will turn right. Follow Jackson Avenue for about 1.5 miles, and you will arrive at Sprain Ridge Park. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules while biking.
