Train
From White Plains Metro-North station, take the Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. After exiting the station, head east on 42nd Street until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left on 5th Avenue and continue walking north for about 1 mile until you reach E 65th St. Turn right on E 65th St, and Temple Emanu-El will be on your left.
Bus
From the White Plains Bus Terminal, take the Bee-Line Bus #60 towards the White Plains Metro-North station. After a short ride, you will reach the station. Once there, board the Metro-North Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, disembark at Grand Central Terminal. Follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. Once you’re outside, walk east on 42nd Street, turn left onto 5th Avenue, and walk north until you reach E 65th St. Turn right onto E 65th St, and Temple Emanu-El will be on your left.
Walking
If you are in downtown White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains Metro-North station. Once there, take the Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal. Once you exit the station, walk east on 42nd Street to 5th Avenue, turn left, and head north until you reach E 65th St. Finally, turn right onto E 65th St, and you will find Temple Emanu-El on your left.
