    From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro-North train station. Board a southbound train on the Hudson Line headed towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Get off at Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.

    After exiting Grand Central, walk to the Grand Central subway station located below the terminal. Take the 7 train (the light blue line) towards Flushing - Main Street. At the next stop, Times Square-42nd Street, transfer to the 1 train (the red line) towards South Ferry.

    Stay on the 1 train for 7 stops until you reach the South Ferry station. Exit the train and follow the signs to the exit. Once outside, you will be at the southern tip of Manhattan.
