From there, walk east along East 42nd Street until you reach 1st Avenue, then turn left and walk north for about 3 blocks until you arrive at the United Nations Headquarters at 405 E 45th St.

Start at the White Plains Metro-North Train Station. Take the Metro-North train towards 'Grand Central Terminal'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 7 train towards 'Flushing - Main St'. Get off at the 'Times Sq - 42 St' station and transfer to the S (Shuttle) train towards 'Grand Central'. Disembark at Grand Central and walk east from the station through Vanderbilt Avenue. Continue to East 42nd Street and turn right. Walk east for about 3 blocks to reach the United Nations Headquarters at 405 E 45th St.
