From White Plains train station, take the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at 125th Street Station. From there, transfer to the downtown MTA subway line (the 1 train) at the 125th Street subway station. Take the 1 train towards South Ferry for 8 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and get off at the 72nd Street Station. Exit the station and walk west on 72nd Street until you reach Broadway. Zabar's will be on your left at 2245 Broadway.

From the White Plains Bus Terminal, take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. This bus will take you directly to the Upper West Side. Get off at the stop at 72nd Street and Broadway. From there, walk south on Broadway for about 2 blocks until you reach Zabar's at 2245 Broadway.

If you're in downtown White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains train station. Once there, follow the directions for the train option above.
