Start at the Yonkers train station located at 1 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY. Take the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and follow signs to the Main Concourse.

From Grand Central Terminal, head to the subway station located beneath the terminal. Take the 7 train (Flushing Local) from Grand Central to Times Square-42nd Street. Transfer to the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station, and then take the A, C, or E train downtown towards the World Trade Center. Get off at 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, it’s a short walk to 122 E 42nd St, where the Chanin Building is located.

From Yonkers, you can also take the Bee-Line Bus System. Catch the BxM4C express bus from the Yonkers Transit District (located at the Yonkers train station). This bus will take you directly to Manhattan. Get off at the stop at 42nd St & 3rd Ave. Walk east towards 122 E 42nd St. The Chanin Building is just a few minutes away from the bus stop.
