If you are driving from Whiteface Mountain, head southeast on NY-86 S for about 7 miles. After reaching the junction with NY-73, turn right onto NY-73 W. Continue for approximately 3 miles until you see the sign for Mt Van Hoevenberg. Turn left onto Van Hoevenberg Way, and follow this road for about 1 mile. You will arrive at the Mt Van Hoevenberg parking area, which is located at 31 Van Hoevenberg Way, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
