    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad station. Take the Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Riverdale station. Once you exit the station, walk to the Riverdale Avenue bus stop and catch the Bx12 bus towards Pelham Bay Park. Get off at the Southern Boulevard and Bronx Zoo stop. The Bronx Zoo will be right in front of you.

    From Yonkers, you can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 from the Yonkers Transit Center. Stay on the bus until you reach the Southern Boulevard and Bronx Zoo stop. The entrance to the Bronx Zoo is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Yonkers waterfront, you can take a scenic walk towards the Bronx. Head east on Warburton Avenue, then turn right onto Main Street. Continue until you reach the intersection of Main Street and Southern Boulevard. Turn left onto Southern Boulevard, and walk north until you reach the Bronx Zoo entrance.
