Make your way to the Yonkers Train Station, located at 1 Main St, Yonkers, NY. Board the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Grand Central to the 4, 5, or 6 subway line towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station, and follow the signs to Brooklyn.

Continue walking for about 2 miles until you reach the edge of the Yonkers city limits. From there, follow the pedestrian signs to the nearest public transportation stops that connect to Brooklyn.

Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Yonkers. Head south towards the Hudson River Greenway, which will guide you along the river. Follow the path that leads to the Bronx, then take the bike route that connects to Brooklyn. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to reach Brooklyn by bicycle.

Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Enter 'Brooklyn' as your destination. Depending on traffic, it should take about 30-45 minutes to get there from Yonkers. Be sure to confirm your pickup location at your current spot in Yonkers.
