Subway
From Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station in Manhattan. Once there, transfer to the A or C subway line at the 125th Street subway station. Take the A or C train downtown towards Brooklyn. Ride until you reach the High Street-Brooklyn Bridge station. After exiting the subway, walk south on Cadman Plaza West, turn left onto Montague Street, and then right onto Pierrepont Place. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade will be on your left.

Bus
Start at the Yonkers Public Library on Riverfront Green Park. Catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 or #2 towards New York City. Ride the bus until you reach the last stop at the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. From there, take the MTA bus B61 towards Red Hook. Get off at the intersection of Montague Street and Pierrepont Place. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade will be directly ahead of you.

If you are near the Hudson River in Yonkers, start at the Yonkers waterfront and walk south along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North Station.
