Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the S (Shuttle) train to Times Square-42nd Street. From there, transfer to the 1 subway line, heading uptown towards Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street. Ride for about 10 stops until you reach the 168th Street station. Exit the station and walk west on 168th Street until you reach Haven Avenue. Turn right on Haven Avenue, and J. Hood Wright Park will be on your left at W. 173 St.
