Public Transit - Subway
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the Grand Central Terminal station. From there, follow the signs to the 42nd Street subway station and take the 4 or 5 subway line downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. Exit the station and walk southeast towards Park Row, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Kimlau Square will be on your left.
Public Transit - Bus and Subway
From Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus Route #1 towards the Bronx. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the 242nd Street subway station. Transfer to the 1 subway line towards South Ferry. After about 35 minutes, get off at the Chambers Street station. Walk east along Chambers Street and turn right onto Park Row. Kimlau Square will be ahead on your right.
Walking
If you are staying in central Yonkers, walking to Kimlau Square is a feasible option if you enjoy a long stroll. Start from the Yonkers City Hall and head south on Main Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, which will lead you to the waterfront. From there, you can walk along the Hudson River waterfront towards the south. After reaching the riverfront, follow the path through the parks until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North station. From here, you can take a train as previously described to Grand Central Terminal and then walk to Kimlau Square.
