Once you exit the station, walk east on Astor Place, then turn right onto 2nd Avenue. Continue walking south on 2nd Avenue until you reach East Houston Street. The Liz Christy Garden will be located on your right, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery.

From Yonkers, you can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Get off at the last stop in the Bronx and transfer to the Bx19 bus towards 138th Street-Grand Concourse.
