From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the 125th Street Station in Harlem. At 125th Street, transfer to the A subway line towards Brooklyn. Stay on the A line until you reach the Jay St-MetroTech Station. From there, walk about 10 minutes to 99 Schermerhorn St. The New York Transit Museum will be on your left.

From any point in Yonkers, find the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus System. Take the BxM4C route towards Manhattan. Ride until you reach the 42nd St/Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, take the A train from the Port Authority Subway Station towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Jay St-MetroTech Station. Walk about 10 minutes to 99 Schermerhorn St, where the New York Transit Museum is located.
