Subway
If you are in Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. From there, take the Hudson Line train heading south towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station in Harlem. Once you arrive at 125th Street, transfer to the A subway line heading towards Far Rockaway. After a few stops, get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. From there, transfer to the C subway line heading towards Jay St - MetroTech, and get off at the Lafayette Avenue station. Walk east on Lafayette Avenue, which will turn into Eastern Parkway. Continue walking until you reach Prospect Park, where the Boathouse is located at 101 East Drive.

From anywhere in Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus System. Take the #1 bus towards the Bronx. Ride the bus until you reach the end of the line at the Bronx Terminal Market. From there, transfer to the Bx19 bus heading towards Fordham Plaza. Once you reach Fordham Plaza, transfer to the B41 bus heading towards Brooklyn. Get off at the stop on Flatbush Avenue at the intersection with Empire Boulevard. From there, it is a short walk to Prospect Park; follow Empire Boulevard and turn right onto Flatbush Avenue, which leads you directly into the park where the Boathouse is located.
