Getting There

  • Metro

    From your current location in Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. You can either walk or take a local bus to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to the 125th Street station in Manhattan. The train ride will take approximately 25 minutes. After arriving at 125th Street, transfer to the 1 subway line heading downtown. Get off at the 86th Street station. From there, walk west on 86th Street towards Riverside Drive, and then turn right onto Riverside Drive. Continue walking north until you reach Riverside Park. The park entrance will be on your left.

    To get to Riverside Park from Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line bus service. Take the BxM4C or BxM4 bus towards Manhattan. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus to avoid long waits. Once you reach the bus terminal at 42nd Street in Manhattan, transfer to the M104 or M11 bus heading north. Get off at the stop at 86th Street and Riverside Drive. From there, you can walk west to the park entrance.

Head towards the Hudson River, and follow the riverwalk path north along the waterfront. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and will take about 30 minutes.
