Subway
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway by taking the A, B, C, or D trains to the 59th Street - Columbus Circle Station. Exit the station and walk east along 59th Street until you reach 2nd Avenue. Turn left and walk north to reach East 60th Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of East 60th Street and 2nd Avenue, where the Roosevelt Island Tramway station is located.

Bus
You can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 from Yonkers to the Bronx Terminal Market. From there, transfer to the BxM2 express bus heading towards Manhattan. Get off at 2nd Avenue and East 60th Street. Walk a short distance east to the Roosevelt Island Tramway station located at 254 E 60th St.

Walking
If you are near the Yonkers waterfront, you can walk north towards the Metro-North Yonkers station. Once you reach the station, board the train to Grand Central Terminal. After arriving, transfer to the subway or walk to the Roosevelt Island Tramway station by heading east along 59th Street to 2nd Avenue, then turning left to East 60th Street.
